Toss in a few rose buds with your black or red tea and you've got the yummiest (and prettiest) blend.
The bud of the Chinese Rose, known as Mei Gui Hua, is a Qi Regulating medicinal whose sweet, slightly bitter and warming qualities promote movement in the body and relieve constraint. The beautiful flowers bring a moving quality to a tea that calms the spirit and relieves the pain associated with a woman's monthly cycle as well as poor appetite. A sweet, floral and unbinding rosebud makes a pleasant addition to many types of Puerh or Black teas, either through the tea session or added for the final steepings.
